Simple syrup is, as its name implies, quite simple. This is however an essential part of any cake you’re making more than a few hours before serving, it helps keep the layers from drying out.
- 50 grams of Water
- 50 grams of Granulated Sugar
- Place the granulated sugar and water into a saucepan.
- Place the saucepan onto your stove and heat it, on low heat, until the sugar has dissolved.
