Colourful, flavourful and fun! This cake is made with creamy buttercream and fluffy red velvet cake, covered with sprinkles and decorated with chocolate covered macarons, also decorated with sprinkles.

Red velvet cake with cream cheese buttercream, sprinkles and white chocolate dipped macarons covered in sprinkles on top.
Ingredients
- ½ Batch of Red Velvet Cake*
- 3 Batches of Cream Cheese Buttercream
- Small amount of Simple Syrup
- ½ Batch of Vanilla Macarons
- 100 grams of White Chocolate
- ± 400 grams of Sprinkles
Instructions
- Cut circles (16cm) out of sponge cake.
- Attach the bottom cake layer to a cake board with cream cheese buttercream.
- Pipe or spread cream cheese buttercream on top.
- Add another layer of cake on top.
- Repeat the last two steps, ending with a cake layer.
- Crumb coat the entire cake.
- Refrigerate for about 30 minutes, until set.
- Cover the entire cake with cream cheese buttercream.
- Place a cakeboard or acetate on top of the cake.
- Cover the sides of the cake with sprinkles.
- Refrigerate for about 60 minutes, until fully set.
- Remove cakeboard or acetate.
- Smooth out the top of the cake, using a hot palette knife.
- Dip the vanilla macaron shells in white chocolate, then cover them with sprinkles.
- Refrigerate for about 30 minutes, until fully set.
- Fill and assemble macarons.
- Pipe dollops of buttercream on top of the cake.
- Place macarons in between buttercream dollops.
