Vegan Chocolate Mousse

Fluffy chocolate mousse for anyone who can’t have dairy or eggs. Replace the soy whipping cream with coconut whipping cream, for anyone who can’t have soy.

Fluffy and delicious vegan chocolate mousse, made with just three ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 125 grams of Vegan Whipping Cream*
  • 100 grams of Vegan Chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  1. Combine the chocolate and whipping cream.
  2. Heat until the chocolate has melted, stir to incorporate.
  3. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until completely cool, 30 - 60 minutes.
  5. Whip up, until lighter in colour and increased in volume, about 2-5 minutes**.
  6. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes.

Notes

*I used soy whipping cream for this recipe.
**How long this takes depends on the kind of vegan chocolate added. I found that the dark chocolate mousse whipped up rather quickly.
